About Insutherm

InsuTherm is a family business and has been an expert installer of IsoTherm products since June 2008. Prior to that, the business operated as Ibez SA, whom over the 8 years prior to 2008 had established a very competent installation team, a mature installation process, and in-depth knowledge of insulation products.

In June 2008, this expert knowledge and know-how was acquired from Ibez SA upon their closing due to emigration from South Africa. The in-depth training and incorporation of skilled employees has ensured a smooth continuation of the high standards and intimate customer care for which we are known.

Our relationships with manufacturers of polyester blanket products are based on a trust relationship. It is by quality work and that alone that we seek to promote polyester insulation products in Gauteng.

Legislation

In the near future, Thermal Insulation will be included in the municipal building inspection process for new or extended construction and will be based in the SANS 204 and SANS 10400-XA standards.

The Government Gazette of 11 June 2010 published the intent of the Department of Trade and Industry that the minister introduce a sub-regulation for the Energy Efficiency of Buildings. This intent includes the requirement that the SANS 10400-XA standard be satisfied by a competent person in accordance with the requirements of SANS 10400-XA, while the competent person who is responsible for such determination shall on completion of the construction and commissioning of the building submit to the local authority a fully complied form 4 as contained in SANS 10400-A.
